The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman shoots for a double leg takedown but Odenkirk sprawls well. He's pushed Freeman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Freeman shoots in looking for a takedown. Odenkirk tries to sprawl out of it but Freeman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Odenkirk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oh Freeman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freeman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Odenkirk tries to avoid it but Freeman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Odenkirk to the ground. Odenkirk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Odenkirk gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Odenkirk apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Freeman has an Americana. Odenkirk didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Freeman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Freeman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
