Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Steve Austin!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko keeps the fight on the outside.

Emelianenko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Emelianenko passes the guard and advances to mount!

Emelianenko is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Austin is surviving well by controlling Emelianenko's body position as best he can.

Emelianenko is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Austin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

It looks like Steve Austin has been cut.
Austin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Austin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Emelianenko.
Austin is desperately trying to improve his position but Emelianenko has a good base and remains in mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Austin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Emelianenko wants to control the pace but Austin is squirming around nicely.
Austin tries to reverse the position but Emelianenko maintains control.

Austin is in a horrible position here. Emelianenko smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Emelianenko avoids the attempt from Austin to control.

A big strike lands for Emelianenko! That's really hurt Austin and he's turned his back - Emelianenko keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Emelianenko jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
