Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pascal lands a nice looking kick to the body. Williams takes a step back to recover.
Williams looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pascal!

Pascal looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Pascal just trying to survive but Williams is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Williams has the hooks in. Pascal is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Pascal staying busy and making it hard for Williams to control.

Pascal tries to escape the position.
Williams wants to control the position but Pascal frees himself and scrambles - Williams manages to regain control in side control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pascal misses with a takedown
and Williams counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pascal!
Williams prevents Pascal from getting the reversal.
Williams lands a nice shot to the head.
Williams looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Williams is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pascal can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Williams has control of Pascal's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pascal regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Williams looks gassed!
Pascal wants to control but Williams is having none of it.
Pascal tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Williams lands with some strikes.

Pascal is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
You get the feeling that Pascal really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Williams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pascal is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams is trying to stick to Pascal's back but Pascal is turning into Williams. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Williams's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pascal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams striking off his back but it's not causing Pascal any problems.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pascal swats away the attempt to clinch by Williams.
Pascal scoring well with a low kick there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zack Williams dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pascal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pascal off to one side.
Pascal paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Williams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Williams tries to move to full mount but Pascal actually manages to regain half guard.
Pascal is trying to stand.
Williams is breathing heavily.

Williams is just content to waste time from the top position. Pascal takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Pascal seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Pascal keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
Pascal wants to get back to his feet but Williams is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pascal looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pascal is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Williams wants to control from the top but Pascal keeps moving.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pascal swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Williams takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Williams takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Pascal fails with the takedown.
Pascal shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Williams counters with a takedown into side control.

Pascal is looking to reverse the position.
Williams is looking to take a break and control but Pascal is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Zack Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.
Williams tries to advance to mount but Pascal denies him.

Zack Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pascal lands a high kick!
Williams on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A head kick from Pascal lands but Williams takes it in his stride.
No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt.

Pascal pushes Williams off but Williams dives into side control.
Pascal on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Williams decides to stand back up. Williams steps back and let's Pascal get back to his feet.
Pascal closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pascal lands in his opponent's guard.

Williams manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Williams tries to control but Pascal wriggling away.

Pascal is concentrating on defense, preventing Williams from advancing position.
Pascal is looking for a sweep. Williams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pascal is trying to stand back up but Williams is controlling him
Williams is stalling here. Pascal is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Williams seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pascal has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Williams tries to buck Pascal off but Pascal is having none of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Williams can't do much from the bottom here.
An elbow from Pascal crashes against the mat.
Pascal has an Americana. Williams didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Pascal is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Pascal hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
