The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov thows a left - swing and a miss!

Torres gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ivanov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Torres's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ivanov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Torres is trying to defend but Ivanov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ivanov in particular looking to stall.

Torres is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Torres is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ivanov sees it coming and defends easily.
