Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Azell Harshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Harshaw might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Got Money. Peterson has chosen White Knuckles as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Harshaw gets back to full guard.
Harshaw trying to control the position here. Peterson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Harshaw has Peterson pulled in close to control his posture. Harshaw utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harshaw looking for a sweep. Not yet Harshaw, not yet. Harshaw is controlling Peterson's posture. Harshaw's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Peterson wants to stand but Harshaw is controlling his posture from full guard. Harshaw pushes Peterson off and scrambles back to his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Peterson. Harshaw shoots in but Peterson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Peterson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Peterson tries to clinch up but Harshaw circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Peterson with a poor takedown and Harshaw counters with a nice double leg into side control. Peterson won't be happy with that. Harshaw is breathing heavily. Peterson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Harshaw wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Harshaw scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Peterson to see if he's OK. Peterson is looking for a sweep. Harshaw controlling the position. Harshaw thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Harshaw in the domination position with Peterson hanging on. Harshaw is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Peterson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Peterson is looking to regain half guard here but Harshaw keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harshaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peterson keeps working. Peterson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Peterson wants to get back to full guard. Harshaw looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Peterson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Harshaw scores with a couple of nice shots. Harshaw prevents Peterson from improving his position. Peterson is pressing down on Harshaw's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Peterson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Harshaw content to stall in guard here. Peterson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harshaw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harshaw tries to free his leg and advance position but Peterson is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peterson keeping moving, preventing Harshaw from controlling successfully. Harshaw pushing down on Peterson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Peterson tries to roll over but Harshaw keeps him under control. Peterson is pressing down on Harshaw's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Harshaw pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Peterson is keeping the position for now. Peterson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Azell Harshaw dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Peterson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Peterson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Peterson lands in his opponent's guard. Peterson trying to control but Harshaw is working from the bottom. Harshaw has his hands on Peterson's head, controlling the position. Harshaw controls Peterson momentarily but Peterson frees himself. Peterson preventing the sweep. Peterson controls from within his opponent's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Peterson is pushing down on Harshaw's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harshaw is fighting to maintain full guard but Peterson has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson wants to pass to mount but Harshaw is defending the position. Peterson is tying to control. Harshaw wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Harshaw is looking to escape. Harshaw tries to get to full guard but Peterson has control of the leg. Peterson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Harshaw to stand up. Peterson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Harshaw feints and as Peterson raises his hands in defense, Harshaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Harshaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Peterson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peterson working for a triangle but Harshaw defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Harshaw wants to control from the top but Peterson keeps moving. Harshaw postures up.
Harshaw controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Harshaw is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Peterson looking to control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Harshaw gets in close and instigates a clinch. Harshaw missing with knees to the body.
Harshaw drops down looking for an ankle pick but Peterson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Troy Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harshaw clinches with his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Harshaw gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peterson is trying to control but can't.
Peterson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Harshaw seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Peterson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Peterson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Harshaw's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Harshaw's back! Peterson is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Harshaw up.
Peterson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Peterson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Peterson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Peterson apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Harshaw fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Peterson sprawls well initially but Harshaw persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Harshaw is taking a breather. Peterson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Peterson is not content to let Harshaw control the position. Harshaw passes into side control, despite Peterson's attempt to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peterson is looking to regain half guard here but Harshaw keeps moving and retains side control. Peterson can't do much from the bottom here. Harshaw is looking to take a break and control but Peterson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peterson tries to buck Harshaw off but Harshaw is having none of it. Harshaw decides to stand back up. Harshaw steps back and let's Peterson get back to his feet. Harshaw lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peterson clinches but Harshaw breaks the clinch and Harshaw counters with a nice double leg into guard. Peterson has a closed guard, preventing Harshaw from standing up. That was a close second round but I would say that Azell Harshaw will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The fighters are battling for position here. Peterson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Peterson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Harshaw manages to pass to side control. Harshaw looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Harshaw seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Peterson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Peterson is looking to escape. Peterson is trying to control but can't.

Peterson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Harshaw goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Peterson is on top in guard.
Harshaw looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Peterson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Harshaw is looking to control Peterson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Harshaw avoid being mounted? Harshaw desperately trying to maintain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harshaw tries to get to full guard but Peterson has control of the leg. Harshaw is controlling Peterson's trapped leg to prevent Peterson from advancing to side control. Harshaw works his way to full guard. Good work. Peterson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Harshaw is proving hard to escape from. Harshaw lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Peterson! Peterson is looking to improve his position but Harshaw isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Peterson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Harshaw tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Peterson tries to hold on but Harshaw pushes him away. Peterson is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Harshaw is staying active. Peterson is looking to get to half guard. Peterson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Peterson is looking to get to half guard. Troy Peterson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harshaw looking for a guillotine from mount but Peterson is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Troy Peterson. I think Harshaw has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
