The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
De Souza misses with a low kick as Anderson jumps back.
De Souza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anderson.
Anderson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from De Souza.
Anderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Anderson tries to clinch but De Souza is having none of it.
Anderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

De Souza fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it.

letting De Souza counter with a right hand.
De Souza keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice uppercut lands for De Souza. That snapped Anderson's head back.
Anderson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A clash of legs there as De Souza blocks the low kick.
De Souza goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
De Souza scoring well with a low kick there.
De Souza cracks Anderson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch up but De Souza swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Anderson misses the shot to the body.
Anderson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Souza.
De Souza ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
De Souza cracks the inside of Anderson's front leg.
De Souza throws a nice outside leg kick.
Anderson is breathing heavily.
A telegraphed right hand from Anderson misses the target.
Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from De Souza.

Anderson is looking to wear down De Souza with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Anderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before De Souza can pounce on him.
Anderson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Anderson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Anderson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
De Souza dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

De Souza lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Anderson is rocked!
De Souza works Anderson's body with a nice hook.
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
De Souza drops Anderson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Anderson! De Souza dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
