Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Shelter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikola Tesla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shelter comes to the cage accompanied by Boom! Shake The Room. Tesla has chosen AC/DC's Thunderstruck as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesla lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A nice combination there by Shelter.
Shelter ducks under a wild hook from Tesla.
Shelter tries a head kick but it misses.
Tesla smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Shelter moves away from the strike by Tesla.
Tesla slaps away a takedown attempt from Shelter, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shelter tries to bum rush Tesla with a series of wild strikes but Tesla uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Shelter takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nice takedown defense from Tesla. No joy for Shelter on that attempt.
Shelter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Tesla cracks Shelter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Shelter lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tesla takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Tesla lands a jab to Shelter's midsection.
Tesla pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Shelter throws a jab when Tesla was well out of range.
Shelter takes a shot to the body in his stride.

and Tesla counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Shelter thinking.

Tesla jabs Shelter right on the nose. Shelter blinks but takes it well.
Shelter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tesla moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nikola Tesla is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tesla is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Shelter had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Shelter takes one on the button.
Tesla swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shelter.
Shelter throws a leg kick that misses.
Tesla uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Shelter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tesla lands a big right hand that sends Shelter crashing to the mat! Tesla stays standing though and waves Shelter back to his feet!
Shelter is rocked!
Shelter slips a jab from Tesla.
Anderson Shelter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tesla lands with a cross.
Oh Shelter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tesla cracks Shelter with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tesla has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Shelter to stand back up!

Tesla lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Shelter seems to have got his legs back now.

Tesla fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

and Tesla counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Shelter with a poor takedown
and Shelter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tesla takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Tesla cracks Shelter with a left hook right on the temple and Shelter goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Tesla lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Shelter is OK!
