The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vogolsain drives through with a takedown into guard.
Vogolsain working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
james wants to stand up but Vogolsain is controlling him.
Vogolsain postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

james pushes Vogolsain off and scrambles back to his feet.
Vogolsain changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. james looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

james is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vogolsain is looking to take a break and control but james is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
james is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vogolsain asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vogolsain closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming james to the mat! james manages to get full guard.

Vogolsain lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vogolsain.

Vogolsain is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Vogolsain gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Vogolsain gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Vogolsain apologises and we restart here on the feet.

james shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vogolsain sprawls well. Vogolsain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. james gets slowly back to his feet.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
