Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tzvika Furman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Faraway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tzvika Furman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Faraway! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faraway shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Faraway was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Furman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Faraway looking to control and managing it successfully. The referee warns Furman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Faraway tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faraway looking to control but Furman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Faraway with good strikes from the mount here! Faraway postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Furman looks a forlorn figure.
Faraway trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Despite being in the dominant position, Daniel Faraway just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Faraway tries to clinch up. Furman fails with the takedown and Faraway counters with a low kick, right behind Furman 's knee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faraway closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Faraway manages to break the clinch.
Faraway clinches. Faraway should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Faraway pulls guard successfully.
Furman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Faraway is proving hard to escape from. Faraway uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Faraway shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Furman has his foot on Faraway's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Faraway works his way back into a safe position though. Faraway in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Furman is working an open guard so Faraway takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Furman keeps the fight on the outside. Faraway closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faraway sitting and controlling from the half guard. Faraway is trying to work for a kimura but Furman is defending well.
Faraway trying to mount his opponent but Furman defends it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Faraway working the head and body with strikes. Faraway tries to pass the half guard into mount. Furman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Faraway is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Faraway trying to control from half guard but Furman is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Faraway decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Faraway shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Furman as he jumps to the side. Faraway fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Faraway throws a nice looking combination but Furman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Faraway scores with a shot to the body.
Faraway shoots for a double leg takedown but Furman sprawls well. He's pushed Faraway's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tzvika Furman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Faraway. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Furman has managed to clinch.
Faraway tries to pull guard but Furman holds him up against the cage and eventually Faraway drops back down to his feet.
Faraway tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Furman just stands there and leans against the cage. Furman letting Faraway take a breather here. Furman misses with a hook to the ribs.

Daniel Faraway dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Furman tries for a takedown but Faraway circles away easily and Faraway counters with a nice double leg into side control. Furman won't be happy with that. Faraway tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faraway thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Furman wants to control but Faraway postures up. Faraway decides to stand up, so the ref orders Furman to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Faraway lands a head kick!
Furman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Faraway looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's one minute gone in the round. Furman cracks Faraway with an elbow. That is naaassty. Faraway is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Furman off and has taken his back! Furman defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Faraway's arms. Faraway struggling to keep hold of the position.
Faraway controlling from the back. Furman wants to escape the position.
Furman is taking damage to the body and head. Furman is trapped and Faraway is scoring with shots to the head and body. Furman covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Furman is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faraway throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Furman!
Oh Furman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Furman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Faraway has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Can Furman hold on?! Faraway is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Faraway is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Furman defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Furman seems to have got his legs back now. Furman trying to control but not successfully. Furman is keeping busy.
Daniel Faraway has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a pause in the action here. Faraway controlling the positon. Furman looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Faraway controlling the position well here. Furman rolled but Faraway kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Faraway not allowing Furman to control his hands. Faraway misses with punches from the back. Faraway is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Furman is defending well though. Faraway let's go of the attempt for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Furman is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Faraway gets his way!

Daniel Faraway showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Furman avoids the body shot from Faraway.
Faraway tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Furman tries to bum rush Faraway with a series of wild strikes but Faraway uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Faraway shoots and misses and Furman counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Faraway! Furman tries to control but Faraway wriggling away. Faraway is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Furman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Faraway is on top in guard.

Furman looking for a guillotine here but Faraway defends easily.
Faraway trying to control the position from guard on top but Furman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Furman is looking for a triangle here but Faraway uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
You can see the frustration on Furman's face as Faraway controls the position. Furman regains half guard, as Faraway was trying to land strikes. Furman is pressing down on Faraway's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Faraway looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Faraway is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Faraway throws and elbow that misses. Furman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Faraway's guard. Nice move by Furman! Furman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Furman won't allow Faraway to sweep him here. Faraway trying to keep a closed guard but Furman is proving a slippery customer.
Faraway manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Faraway connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Furman tries to lock up and control but Faraway gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Furman reaches up to try and control the position but Faraway seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Furman rolls and tries to escape and now Faraway has his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faraway wants to control but Furman is keeping busy. Faraway has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Furman. Furman trying to control the action but Faraway just sinks the hooks in. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Faraway.
What can Furman do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Faraway comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Faraway has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
