Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drako Vonstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vonstein is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC/DC Thunderstruck (techno). Masahiko Kimura has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Masahiko Kimura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drako Vonstein! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Vonstein! Vonstein is desperately trying to improve his position but Kimura has a good base and remains in mount. Kimura landing shots from mount. Kimura is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Vonstein has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kimura landing shots from mount.
It looks like Drako Vonstein has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vonstein gets back to half guard. Kimura trying to pass the guard but Vonstein defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kimura looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vonstein with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kimura is pressing down on Vonstein's thigh, looking to free his foot. Vonstein is holding on for now. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kimura connects with a nice short shot to Vonstein's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura wants to control but Vonstein is keeping him busy. Vonstein throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Vonstein landing strikes from the bottom. Vonstein is looking for a sweep. Kimura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kimura blocks the strikes from Vonstein.
Kimura missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kimura is thwarting Vonstein's attempts to control the position. Vonstein looking for submissions off his back.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kimura shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vonstein actively working from the bottom here. Kimura tries to pass to full mount but Vonstein defends it. Vonstein trying to hold on to Kimura's head to control him but Kimura postures up.
Vonstein is trying to get back to full guard. Vonstein on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That has opened up Drako Vonstein's cut even more.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vonstein is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Vonstein gets back to full guard.
Vonstein thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Kimura trying to control but Vonstein is working from the bottom. Kimura postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kimura postures up in Vonstein's guard and throws a big left but Vonstein blocks it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kimura accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Vonstein keeping full guard, as Kimura tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Vonstein misses with a takedown attempt and Kimura counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kimura is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Kimura prevents Vonstein from improving his position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kimura lands a nice short elbow. Vonstein gets back to full guard.
Vonstein manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vonstein cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Masahiko Kimura dominated that round. The cut man is working on Drako Vonstein's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kimura shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kimura showed some decent athleticism there. Kimura works his foot free and advances to mount. Kimura will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Vonstein avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kimura.
Kimura misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Vonstein is trying to escape the mount.
Vonstein is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kimura with good strikes from the mount here! Kimura working for a submission but Vonstein is keeping him at bay. Vonstein keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vonstein is in a horrible position here. Kimura smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Drako Vonstein's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Drako Vonstein's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Masahiko Kimura!
