Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luiz Costa!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez lands a nice shot to the body.
Martinez looks to score with a jab to the body but Costa is just out of range.
Costa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Costa is looking to clinch.
Martinez keeps the fight on the outside.
Martinez swats away the attempt to clinch by Costa.
Costa tries to close the distance and clinch but Martinez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Martinez moves in looking to clinch but Costa pushes him off.
Costa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Costa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Martinez was covering up waiting for the punch and Costa finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Martinez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Martinez has control of Costa's left arm, preventing Costa from doing any damage.
Costa is looking to stand up but Martinez won't let him.
Martinez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Costa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Martinez has his feet on Costa's thighs here. He's pushed Costa off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Costa screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
