The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Berto. No joy for Arcinas on that attempt.
Berto scores with a hook to the body. Arcinas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Berto lands with a nice combination. Arcinas backs away looking to recover.
Arcinas shoots for a double leg takedown but Berto sprawls well. He's pushed Arcinas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Berto is looking to slow Arcinas down with leg kicks.
Arcinas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gino Arcinas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Berto moves into the clinch.
Berto digs a right hand into Arcinas's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Arcinas's gas tank.

Arcinas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Berto swivels and escapes.

Berto throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Berto moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A nice combination there by Berto.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Berto! Arcinas is out on his feet! Berto rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Arcinas is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Arcinas is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
