Varro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, In your words - Lamb of god. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varro tries for a takedown but Clarksson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Varro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clarksson but Clarksson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Clarksson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Varro on the side of the head.

It looks like Jason Varro has been cut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Varro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Clarksson - the referee stops the clock and Varro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Clarksson. Varro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Clarksson rushes Varro and presses him up against the ropes.
Clarksson lands an elbow inside.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clarksson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Clarksson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Varro's brow.
Varro is trying to drag Clarksson to the mat but Clarksson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Varro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Clarksson scores a nice knee to the body.
Varro is breathing heavily.
Clarksson lands a knee to the head.
Clarksson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Varro's face.

Oh Varro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Clarksson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Varro seems to have got his legs back now.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Clarksson! Varro is out on his feet! Clarksson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Varro is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Varro is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
