The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Margarito throws a leg kick that misses.

Margarito jumps guard and drags Sakara to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sakara trying to control the position from guard on top but Margarito is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Sakara thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Margarito can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Margarito tries to clinch but Sakara is having none of it.
Sakara takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Margarito misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Antonio Margarito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sakara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Margarito pinned against the cage. Margarito gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sakara.

Sakara is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Margarito is trying to escape and Sakara transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Margarito is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sakara! Very nice indeed!
