Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sauli Heilimo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnte Potts!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potts throws a shot from downtown. Heilimo moves away and avoids it.
Potts connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Heilimo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Potts sprawls well. Potts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Heilimo gets slowly back to his feet.
A solid body kick from Potts.
Potts shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Heilimo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Potts is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Heilimo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Potts wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Heilimo, who protects the arm well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Heilimo is looking to reverse the position.
Potts looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Potts throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Potts thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Potts wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Heilimo, who protects the arm well.

Heilimo manages to work his way to half guard, despite Potts's best efforts.
Heilimo preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Potts prevents Heilimo from standing back up.
Potts is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Heilimo defends it well.
Potts seems to be working for a kimura but Heilimo defends the submission attempt.
Heilimo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Potts pulls his head out easily.
Potts looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Heilimo won't allow Potts to pass to mount.
Potts not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Potts tries to pass to full mount but Heilimo defends it.
Potts wants to work for an arm triangle but Heilimo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Potts is working for an americana but Heilimo has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Potts was thinking about the submission.

Potts wants to pass the guard but Heilimo is keeping the position.
Heilimo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Heilimo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Potts is aware though and is defending well.

Potts drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Potts jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Potts passes Heilimo's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Heilimo kicks Potts off and gets back to his feet.
Potts has taken the fight to the clinch.
Heilimo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Potts clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Potts looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Heilimo scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Potts turns into Heilimo and is now in his guard.
Potts is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Heilimo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Potts stands and throws Heilimo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Potts stands up and beckons Heilimo to his feet.
Potts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Heilimo regains half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Potts works his way into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnte Potts dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Heilimo checks a leg kick nicely.
Potts closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Potts tries for a takedown. No joy.
Potts is trying to drag Heilimo to the mat but Heilimo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Potts prevents Heilimo from breaking the clinch.
Heilimo breaks the clinch.
Potts throws a leg kick that misses.
Heilimo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jab, jab by Potts - just one landing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Potts swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Heilimo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Potts was covering up waiting for the punch and Heilimo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Heilimo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Potts looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Heilimo trying to move into half guard but instead Potts has managed to sweep!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Potts advances to half guard.
Heilimo actively working from the bottom here.
Potts has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Heilimo defend it? Potts steps over the head and cranks it - Heilimo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Potts!
