Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Beaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Bakreek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jeff Bakreek enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pete Beaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Bakreek! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beaker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bakreek is trying to control Beaker's posture but Beaker avoids it. Beaker prevents Bakreek from escaping the position. Beaker tries to move to mount but Bakreek blocks the move with his legs. Beaker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bakreek is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Bakreek taking punishment in the form of punches.
Beaker tries to advance to mount but Bakreek denies him. Beaker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bakreek can do anything to dispel that myth. Beaker tries to advance to mount but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bakreek is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bakreek is looking to reverse the position. Beaker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Beaker lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Beaker tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Beaker throws an elbow but Bakreek slips to the side and avoids it well. Bakreek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beaker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Check out the look on Beaker's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Beaker landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bakreek tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Beaker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bakreek struggling a bit here. Beaker landing a few strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beaker tries for a kimura but Bakreek is defending well. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Beaker working the ground and pound from side control. Bakreek looks gassed! Beaker throws a strike aimed at the side of Bakreek's head but Bakreek avoids it well. Bakreek struggling a bit here. Beaker moves into full mount! Beaker has hold of Bakreek's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bakreek manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
This has been an exciting period of action! Beaker lands with some strikes. Bakreek can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Beaker connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Bakreek is rocked! Oooooh, big shot lands for Beaker! Bakreek is hurt baaadly! Beaker is firing away with more strikes - Bakreek is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
