Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Growl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timona Tahu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tahu's choice of entrance music: kolohe kai - cool down. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Tahu gets caught flat footed, as Growl shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Growl got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tahu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Growl has managed to get both his arms back between Tahu's legs - danger averted.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tahu holds on and takes a little breather.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Growl lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Growl has control of Tahu's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tahu regains control of the situation pretty easily.
