Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tomi Karttunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gracie fails with the takedown.
Gracie feints and as Karttunen raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gracie looking to pass the guard.
Karttunen wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Karttunen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Karttunen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard.
Karttunen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karttunen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karttunen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Karttunen trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Karttunen works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Karttunen is tying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Gracie is looking to improve his position.
Gracie is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Karttunen pulls his head out easily.
Gracie looks gassed!
Gracie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Karttunen wants to pass the guard but Gracie is defending well.
Karttunen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gracie looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Karttunen trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gracie shoots in but Karttunen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tomi Karttunen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Gracie.
Karttunen shoots in and bounces Gracie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Karttunen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Karttunen manages to get himself to full guard.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Karttunen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Gracie has hold of Karttunen's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Karttunen tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gracie cranks the arm and Karttunen screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Karttunen, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Brock Gracie!
