Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Tolomia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Shinola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinola has chosen Hollywood as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Michael Tolomia is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shinola moves into the clinch. Shinola drags the fight down to the ground.
Tolomia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Shinola is looking to stand up but Tolomia isn't so interested in that idea. Tolomia stands up from Shinola's guard - Tolomia perhaps looking for a knockout. Shinola bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Tolomia manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Tolomia thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shinola's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tolomia sitting and controlling from the half guard. Shinola blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tolomia.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shinola is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Tolomia jumps into side control! Shinola managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Tolomia.
Tolomia trying to control the position but Shinola is working away. Shinola tries to bench press Tolomia off him but Tolomia keeps the position. Shinola is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Tolomia is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Shinola manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. Shinola punching from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Shinola wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tolomia controlling the action here. Shinola is looking to control Tolomia's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Shinola avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinola controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Shinola manages to get to full guard.
Tolomia trying to control the position from guard on top but Shinola is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tolomia stops Shinola from standing up. Tolomia has gone for a leg lock! Shinola slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tolomia's guard. Shinola makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shinola tries to free his leg and advance position but Tolomia is retaining full guard. Shinola drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tolomia manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shinola has Tolomia in his guard. Tolomia wants to pass the guard but Shinola is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brett Shinola dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Shinola changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tolomia looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Shinola stands up. Tolomia throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shinola shoots in and drives through. Tolomia sprawls well. Tolomia tries to clinch but Shinola is having none of it. Shinola shoots in but Tolomia avoids the takedown attempt easily. Tolomia lands a nice looking body kick. Tolomia has managed to clinch.
Shinola wants to break free but Tolomia has control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tolomia tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tolomia jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shinola walks away with a smile on his face. Tolomia gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Shinola closes the distance and clinches up with Tolomia, looking for a takedown. Shinola pushes Tolomia against the cage but Tolomia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Michael Tolomia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Shinola.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shinola shoots in for a takedown but Tolomia shows good takedown defense. Tolomia with a poor takedown and Shinola counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Tolomia manages to get to full guard.
Shinola content to stall in guard here. Shinola looking to pass the guard. Tolomia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shinola looking to pass the guard. Shinola with a flurry of punches that miss. Shinola decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Shinola shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Brett Shinola has got the better of the ground game so far. Tolomia is trying to control the position but Shinola postures up. Shinola chips away with some ground and pound. Shinola postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Shinola cracks Tolomia with a solid left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tolomia tries to land a sweep but no joy. Shinola makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Shinola pushes down on Tolomia's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tolomia wants to control but Shinola is keeping busy.
Shinola is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Shinola winds up and cracks Tolomia with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Shinola decides to return to a standing position. Tolomia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Shinola shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tolomia is trying to defend but Shinola finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shinola is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Shinola throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tolomia has hold of Shinola's hands but Shinola slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Shinola looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Tolomia taking some punishment here, with Shinola in his half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tolomia wants to improve his position but Shinola is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brett Shinola showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Shinola gets a takedown into half guard. Shinola drops an elbow to the side of Tolomia's head. Shinola is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tolomia is just riding it out for now. Shinola eventually gives up the hold. Shinola works his way into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tolomia takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shinola working the head with strikes. Shinola working away. Shinola lands a nice forearm strike. Tolomia is trying to control Shinola's posture but Shinola avoids it. Shinola working the ground and pound from side control. Tolomia is working to avoid the ground and pound but Shinola connects with a decent elbow. Shinola trying to control the position but Tolomia is working away. Tolomia takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shinola is chipping away with strikes.
Shinola lands some shots froms side control. Shinola wants to control but Tolomia is keeping him busy. Shinola is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. You can see the frustration on Tolomia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shinola lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinola thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Shinola working the head and body with strikes. Shinola lands an elbow. Shinola scoring with punches and elbows. Tolomia tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tolomia is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Shinola wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tolomia keeps working. Brett Shinola is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shinola content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Tolomia tries to buck Shinola off but Shinola is having none of it. Tolomia prevents Shinola from improving position. Shinola working the head and body with strikes. Michael Tolomia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Shinola in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Brett Shinola comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Shinola winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
