Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mad Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reid's entrance music is Don't Save Us From The Flames. A fine choice. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mad Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anderson Maia!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Maia.
Reid tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Maia presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Maia throwing strikes here but Reid is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Maia lands a big shot there that rocks Reid but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Maia has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reid's face.

Maia pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Reid wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Maia.
Reid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maia on the ground.

Reid on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reid tries to get out of the position.

Maia cracks Reid with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Reid wants to control but Maia is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Reid has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Maia is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Maia stalks Reid and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Reid's face. Reid staggers backwards, shaken.
Maia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reid.
Reid swings for the body but Maia moves out of range.
Reid throws a shot from downtown. Maia moves away and avoids it.

Maia throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Maia counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Reid's guard now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mad Reid will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Reid throws a hook to the side of Maia's head but Maia sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maia shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reid but Reid pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maia.
Reid changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Maia tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reid swivels and escapes.

Mad Reid showed his dominance in that final round.
