Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shepard Pie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Duvernay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bring the Noise. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shepard Pie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raymond Duvernay!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duvernay ducks right into an uppercut from Pie.
Pie connects with a nice looking jab.
Pie misses with a double jab.
Pie lands a body shot.
Duvernay on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pie moves into the clinch.
Duvernay is trying to break the clinch but Pie has him pressed against the cage.
Pie jumps guard but Duvernay stands there with Pie around his waist. Pie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pie tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Duvernay just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pie drags the fight down to the ground.
Pie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Duvernay is aware though and is defending well.
Duvernay thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Duvernay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Duvernay has managed to get both his arms back between Pie's legs - danger averted.
Pie looking for a guillotine here but Duvernay defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duvernay wants to stand but Pie is controlling his posture from full guard.
Pie looking for a triangle here. Duvernay is fighting it but it looks tight! Pie pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Duvernay is tapping out - this one is all over!
