Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santana Fritz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fritz with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fritz connects with a nice looking jab.
Grant fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Fritz checks it well.

Fritz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Grant.
Grant scores a takedown into full mount!
Grant thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Grant sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grant moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fritz has worked his arm free - good work by Fritz!
Fritz is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Grant asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grant fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Grant throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Fritz wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Grant misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Grant has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fritz is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Grant yanks on the arm and Fritz is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Grant.
