Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heinrich Dussander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dussander comes into the arena with Fuck Wit Jews Day (And Everyone's Persecutin') blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alexander Wilson! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dussander moves into range and clinches up with Wilson. Dussander trying to stall but Wilson improves his position.

Wilson is looking to control Dussander's arms but Dussander gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wilson has his back to the cage. Dussander lands a shot to the body. Dussander taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Wilson tries to pull guard but Dussander holds him up against the cage and eventually Wilson drops back down to his feet.
Wilson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dussander has him pressed against the cage. Dussander stalls. Wilson jumps guard but Dussander stands there with Wilson around his waist. Wilson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Wilson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dussander smiles and moves away.

A big right from Wilson misses. Dussander just misses with a punch to the body.
Dussander looks to score with a jab to the body but Wilson is just out of range. Nice defenses there by Dussander. Wilson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dussander.
Wilson defending well as Dussander loads up on a big left hand. Wilson shoots for a takedown but Dussander saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dussander throws a body punch but Wilson moves out of range. A shot to the liver by Dussander. Beautiful body shot. Dussander throws a jab when Wilson was well out of range. Dussander uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wilson. Wilson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dussander blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wilson. Dussander controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Wilson looks to land a strike but Dussander avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Dussander avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wilson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dussander preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dussander is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wilson is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dussander content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Wilson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wilson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dussander can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilson misses with a hook. Wilson fails to land the takedown. Dussander misses the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dussander throws a big shot that misses. Good standup being displayed there by Wilson as he connects with a hook. Dussander misses with a low kick. Dussander dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dussander walks into a left hand. Dussander throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dussander tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wilson was well out of range. Poor timing from Dussander. Heinrich Dussander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wilson moves forwards but Dussander connects with a nice, crisp jab. Dussander clinches with his opponent.

Wilson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dussander just stands there and leans against the cage. Dussander tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Wilson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dussander walks away with a smile on his face. Dussander is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wilson, into his guard. Wilson is breathing heavily. Wilson working for submissions but it's allowed Dussander to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wilson has a hand on Dussander's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Dussander takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Wilson is trying desperately to improve position. Dussander controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wilson is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wilson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dussander swings away with a body shot that misses
and Wilson counters with a nice body shot. Wilson misses with a hook. Dussander ducked under it nicely. Dussander misses with a hook. Dussander thows a body kick. Wilson tries to catch it but that hurt him. Dussander misses the shot to the body. Wilson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dussander fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wilson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dussander misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wilson.

Heinrich Dussander is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wilson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dussander finds it's way round the side to connect with Wilson's head. Dussander throws out a loose jab but Wilson uses good head movement to avoid it. Wilson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

and Wilson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wilson with a flurry of punches that miss. Wilson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wilson throwing strikes from guard but Dussander blocks nicely. Dussander is adopting a defensive guard. Dussander preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wilson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wilson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson passes easily into side control. Nice work. Wilson throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Dussander works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Dussander trying to control here.
Heinrich Dussander is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wilson thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dussander to regain full guard. Wilson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dussander works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wilson throws a strike but Dussander rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wilson looking for subs off his back but Dussander has passed one foot through into half guard.
