Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zambid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin closes the distance and pushes Zambid back into the cage.
Zambid tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Franklin smiles and moves away.
Zambid moves in looking to clinch but Franklin pushes him off.
Franklin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zambid will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Franklin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Franklin looking to throw knees to the head but Zambid is blocking nicely.
Franklin has had enough of the clinch but Zambid keeps him there for the moment.
Franklin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zambid clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Zambid tries to escape but Franklin has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Zambid wants to clinch up but Franklin keeps it at a distance.

Franklin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Franklin counters with a three punch combo that has Zambid backing up. Zambid nods at Franklin to acknowledge the strikes.
Zambid throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Franklin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Zambid is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Franklin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Franklin is on top in guard.
Franklin lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Franklin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zambid manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Franklin has Zambid in his guard.

Franklin pushes a forearm under Zambid's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Zambid is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
