Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between pidong pakyason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marquez has chosen who we be as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Marquez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

pakyason shoots for a double leg takedown but Marquez sprawls well. He's pushed pakyason's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Marquez throws a series of punches but pakyason moves out of range.
pakyason dives in and grabs Marquez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Marquez pushes down on pakyason's head and hops out.
Marquez looks to land a combination but pakyason avoids it well.

pakyason feints and as Marquez raises his hands in defense, pakyason changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
pakyason tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marquez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten pakyason somewhat.

pakyason turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and pakyason manages to end up in side control.

Even with his hooks in, pakyason manages to miss with strikes from the back.
