Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Guevara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesco White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Guevara looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Guevara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesco White! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White throws a right and a left that both miss. White rushes Guevara and presses him up against the cage. White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Guevara misses with a kick to the body.
White drives through with a takedown into guard. White gets to his feet. Guevara looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Guevara slaps away a takedown attempt from White, before circling back to the center of the mat. Guevara tries to clinch but White moves away and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Guevara is breathing heavily. White shoots in looking for a takedown. Guevara tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Guevara manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. White shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Guevara defends it nicely. Nick Guevara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesco White. Guevara throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease. White gets a takedown into half guard. White controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that White has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. White missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. White is working for a submission of some sort.
Guevara is refusing to be controlled, as White sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. White content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Guevara is trying to stand back up but White is controlling him
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. White moves nicely into side control. White thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. White is looking to take a break and control but Guevara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Guevara is trying to escape the position but White is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesco White dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Both fighters circling a little - White finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. White shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Guevara defends it nicely. White moves out of range as Guevara throws a body kick.
Nick Guevara is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. White closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Guevara did well to prevent White getting side control. White missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. White stalling. White seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guevara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jesco White. White shoots in for a double leg but Guevara sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. White takes the fight into the clinch. White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Guevara throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. White pushes Guevara up against the cage in a clinch. White taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
White manages to pull guard.

Guevara loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Guevara throws and elbow that misses. White uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Guevara's guard. Nice move by White! Guevara preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guevara can't keep his opponent in guard - White advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. White is trying to control the action in half guard but Guevara is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. White tries to pass the half guard into mount. Guevara knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. White is trying to work for a kimura but Guevara is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guevara is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. White decides to stand up. Guevara misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Guevara is trying to get back to half guard. White stands up and beckons Guevara to his feet. White misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Guevara.
Guevara takes a shot right to the bread basket. White shoots in for a takedown but Guevara shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nick Guevara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesco White. Guevara instigates a clinch. White jumps guard but Guevara stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesco White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Guevara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
White looks for a takedown but Guevara sprawls well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from White. White lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Guevara steps to the side to avoid the strikes from White. Guevara moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Nick Guevara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guevara keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nick Guevara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesco White. Guevara scores with a push kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Guevara moves into the clinch successfully.
Guevara gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, White regains guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guevara preventing the sweep. White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
White manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Guevara blocking the ground and pound. White jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Guevara is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Guevara and White has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
White postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White is looking to take a break and control but Guevara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jesco White has got the better of the ground game so far. White works to advance to full mount. Guevara defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White wants to control the pace but Guevara is squirming around nicely. Guevara trying desperately to get to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. White trying to control but Guevara is having none of it. White goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Guevara turns into him and now he's in White's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Nick Guevara showed his dominance in that final round. I think White has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
