Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chico Lockdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Dekker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chico Lockdown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramon Dekker! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lockdown fails with a takedown attempt. Lockdown has a takedown stuffed. Lockdown closes the distance and clinches up with Dekker, looking for a takedown. Lockdown pushes Dekker against the cage but Dekker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chico Lockdown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dekker doesn't manage to clinch there - Lockdown circles away.
Dekker fails in his attempt to clinch. Lockdown stuffs the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lockdown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dekker moves away. Lockdown avoids the head kick by Dekker.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dekker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lockdown paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dekker shoots in and drives through. Lockdown sprawls well. Lockdown shoots in for a takedown but Dekker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lockdown. That's two minutes gone in the round. Lockdown decides to stand and escape the position. Dekker looks gassed! Lockdown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dekker as he jumps to the side. Lockdown fails to land the takedown. Dekker tries to keep at a distance but Lockdown has taken the fight into the clinch. Lockdown tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lockdown has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dekker avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Dekker fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Lockdown is working for takedown but Dekker is calmly controlling the position for now. Dekker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lockdown walks away with a smile on his face. Dekker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dekker closes the distance but Lockdown moves to the side and Lockdown counters by moving into the clinch. Dekker is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Lockdown gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dekker.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dekker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lockdown stalling in the clinch.
Dekker is trying to break the clinch but Lockdown has him pressed against the cage. Dekker trying to control the position but instead, Lockdown has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dekker into the cage. Dekker misses with an elbow strike.

Chico Lockdown dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lockdown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lockdown sitting in guard here, content to control. Dekker looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Lockdown puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lockdown in particular looking to stall. Dekker has his hands clasped together around Lockdown's back. He's all about the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lockdown frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lockdown controlling the pace for now. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dekker is looking to improve his position but Lockdown isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lockdown controlling from the full mount. Lockdown with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dekker tries to lock up and control but Lockdown gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lockdown scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Lockdown controlling the pace for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chico Lockdown dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Lockdown closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lockdown lands in his opponent's guard. Dekker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lockdown controls the pace. Dekker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chico Lockdown. Dekker tries for a takedown but Lockdown circles away easily and Lockdown counters with a takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dekker trying to remain calm as Lockdown controls from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chico Lockdown. Dekker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lockdown shoots in for a takedown but Dekker shows good takedown defense. Ramon Dekker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lockdown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dekker for as long as he can get away with. Chico Lockdown is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Chico Lockdown showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lockdown, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
