Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oo Scorpions (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ross Pearson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oo Scorpions!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ross Pearson!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scorpions fails with a takedown attempt.
Scorpions scores with a one two! Pearson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Scorpions misses with a takedown attempt - Pearson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

I looks like Pearson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Let's hope that Pearson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Pearson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Scorpions's half guard.
Scorpions really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ross Pearson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Scorpions's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Pearson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Scorpions's waist but Scorpions gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pearson off to one side.

Pearson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Scorpions will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Scorpions is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pearson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Scorpions wants to stand and escape but Pearson is having none of it.

Ross Pearson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Pearson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
