Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hanamichi Ono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yi Chang Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hanamichi Ono!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yi Chang Lee!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ono keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A punch combination from Ono misses.
Ono walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Chang Lee checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Ono fails to land with a series of punches.
Chang Lee misses the shot to the body.
Chang Lee showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ono.
Chang Lee tries to clinch up but Ono circles away and keeps his distance.
Ono misses with a double jab.

Chang Lee clinches.
Chang Lee tries to stall but Ono uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Ono wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Chang Lee wants to get back to striking at distance but Ono won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chang Lee is trying to maintain a safe position but Ono gets an underhook and turns Chang Lee into the ropes.
Chang Lee tries to pull guard but Ono holds him up against the ropes and eventually Chang Lee drops back down to his feet.
Chang Lee stops a takedown attempt from Ono.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chang Lee stalling in the clinch but Ono improves position.
Chang Lee will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ono up against the ropes.
Ono tries to land knees in the clinch but Chang Lee avoids the damage to the body.
Chang Lee stops a takedown attempt from Ono.
Chang Lee's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Ono wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ono wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ono is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Chang Lee tries to land a knee to the head but Ono blocks with his arms.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ono breaks the clinch.
Ono throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chang Lee wants to clinch.
Chang Lee tries to clinch up.
Ono jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Chang Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ono paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ono misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chang Lee.
Chang Lee wants to clinch up but Ono keeps it at a distance.
Ono throws a series of strikes that have Chang Lee backpedaling.
Chang Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ono misses with a two punch combination.
Chang Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hanamichi Ono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yi Chang Lee.
Chang Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Ono swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chang Lee checks a leg kick.
Chang Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ono swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Chang Lee darts in and clinches Ono up against the ropes.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Ono.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chang Lee landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Chang Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ono misses with a hook.
Ono lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hanamichi Ono is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ono is breathing heavily.
Chang Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Ono moves out of range easily.
Chang Lee is looking to clinch.
Ono blocks a head kick by Chang Lee.

Chang Lee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Chang Lee wants to control but Ono is keeping him busy.

Chang Lee is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ono looks calm but he's in trouble here. Chang Lee gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ono is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Chang Lee lets go of the hold and Ono can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Yi Chang Lee!
