Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sid The Choke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Lasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sid The Choke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Liam Lasher!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Choke throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lasher's waist but Lasher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Choke off to one side.

Lasher closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. The Choke did well to prevent Lasher getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lasher stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

The Choke is trying to improve his position.

Lasher wants to control the pace but The Choke is squirming around nicely.

Lasher stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Liam Lasher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lasher has taken the fight to the clinch.

The Choke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lasher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by The Choke, who protects the arm well.

The Choke throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The Choke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lasher gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lasher controls from within his opponent's guard.

Lasher avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lasher wants to control from the top but The Choke keeps moving.

Lasher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The Choke looking for a sweep. Not yet The Choke, not yet.
Lasher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Choke swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lasher tries to clinch but The Choke moves out of range.
The Choke avoids the head kick by Lasher.
The Choke shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Lasher counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Liam Lasher dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The Choke has his foot on Lasher's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lasher works his way back into a safe position though.

Lasher is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lasher pushes down on The Choke's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Lasher is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Well, if Lasher is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The Choke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lasher is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The Choke is looking to improve his position.
Lasher is taking a breather. The Choke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lasher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. The Choke doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lasher.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The Choke is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lasher is aware though and is defending well.

Lasher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The Choke looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now The Choke is on top in guard.
Liam Lasher has got the better of the ground game so far.

The Choke drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lasher looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lasher looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lasher!

Lasher is working to tighten is grip on The Choke's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. The Choke has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lasher is really squeezing tight and eventually The Choke passes out! Lasher breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
