The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Dex, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dex lands a body shot.
Dex throws a series of punches but Rook moves out of range.
Rook throws a hook but Dex avoids it easily.
Dex displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rook throws out the jab.
Rook will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rook could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Some wild striking there from Dex.
Dex misses with a few strikes there.
A nice combination there by Rook.
Dex slips a jab and a cross from Rook.
Dex rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rook moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dex throws a combination. Rook tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Dex throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dex sizes up Rook with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Dex stuns Rook with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dex lands a nice hook to Rook's body. Rook takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dex moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rook lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rook lands with a hook. Dex tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dex swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rook counters with a series of strikes. Dex will be more careful next time no doubt.

Dex closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dex lands with an uppercut that bounces Rook off the cage and back into rage.
Dex throws a good cross that connects.

Rook is rocked!
Dex drops Rook with a huge uppercut! Rook drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Dex is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
