Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Montanha Singh!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo tries a head kick but it misses.
Araujo's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Araujo duly obliges.
It looks like Montanha Singh has been cut.
Singh closes the distance and clinches.
Araujo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Singh wants to clinch up but Araujo keeps it at a distance.
Both fighters circling a little - Araujo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Singh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Singh tries to clinch there but Araujo circles away.

Araujo throws a right and a left that both miss.

Araujo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Araujo drops Singh with a right and a left! Araujo comes rushing in but Singh regains his composure and manages to keep Araujo in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Singh is looking to stand up but Araujo isn't so interested in that idea.
Araujo wants to stand but Singh has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Araujo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Singh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Araujo is controlling him.
Araujo trying to move into half guard but instead Singh has managed to sweep!
Araujo is looking to stand up but Singh isn't so interested in that idea.

Singh lands a couple of elbows.
Singh decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Araujo, up you get!
Singh looks gassed!
Araujo plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Singh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Araujo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Singh.
Singh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Araujo as he avoids it easily.
Araujo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Araujo.
Singh is still on wobbly legs! Can Araujo finish him?
Araujo misses with a series of wild punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Singh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Singh seems to have recovered his senses.
Singh clinches up against the ropes.
Singh prevents Araujo from breaking the clinch.
Araujo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Singh's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Singh has picked Araujo up - he's going for a ride! Singh dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Singh gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Singh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Araujo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Singh lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Araujo is looking to close the distance but Singh sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Araujo crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Araujo is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
