The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardon closes the distance and pushes Hernandez back into the cage.
Hernandez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hardon manages to break the clinch.
Hardon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hernandez lands a jab to Hardon's midsection.
Hardon tries to clinch there but Hernandez circles away.
Hardon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hardon slips a jab and a cross from Hernandez.
Hardon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hernandez counters with a straight right hand.
Little Hardon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardon throws a jab but it's blocked by Hernandez.

Hardon throws a lazy right hand but Hernandez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hernandez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hardon.

Hernandez wants to clinch up but Hardon keeps it at a distance.
Hardon swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hernandez counters with a two punch combo.
Hernandez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hardon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hernandez throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hardon circles away from the clinch attempt.

Hardon is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Hernandez's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
