Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryobun Akagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralli Palli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palli comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pelimies kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryobun Akagi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ralli Palli! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akagi misses with the combination.
Palli lands a head shot. Palli misses with the combination.
Palli is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Palli slips a jab and a cross from Akagi.
Ralli Palli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Palli scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Akagi doesn't seem bothered though. Jab from Palli. Palli throws a series of punches but Akagi moves out of range. Akagi takes a shot right to the bread basket. Akagi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Palli. Akagi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Who's going to make the next move? Palli can't do much from the bottom here. Akagi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Palli keeps working. Palli is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Akagi is controlling him well. Akagi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Akagi tries to advance to mount but Palli denies him. You can see the frustration on Palli's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Palli is looking to reverse the position. Palli looks gassed! Akagi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Palli tries to bench press Akagi off him but Akagi keeps the position. Akagi wants to control but Palli is keeping him busy. Akagi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Palli is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Akagi has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Akagi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Palli! Palli just holding on. Akagi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Palli can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Palli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Akagi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Palli wants to hold on but Akagi pushes him away. Akagi wants to finish this one by submission but Palli is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Akagi. Palli has given up his back here. Will Akagi look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Palli trying to control the hands but Akagi breaks the grip. Akagi looking to break Palli's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Palli remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Akagi will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Akagi trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akagi is persistently looking for the submission but Palli is defending it well.
Palli won't enjoy being in this position. Akagi looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Palli is tapping - it's over boys! Akagi picks up the submission victory!
