Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafal Piotrowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wally Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rafal Piotrowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wally Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewis pushes Piotrowski up against the cage in a clinch.
Lewis manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Lewis goes for a takedown attempt but Piotrowski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lewis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lewis wants it to stay on the feet.
Piotrowski shoots in but no luck this time.

Piotrowski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Piotrowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Piotrowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lewis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Piotrowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Piotrowski postures up in Lewis's guard and throws a big left but Lewis blocks it.
Lewis is trying to keep Piotrowski in close.
Lewis seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Piotrowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Piotrowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Piotrowski goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lewis prevents it.

Lewis tries to circle away but Piotrowski has him pinned against the cage.
Lewis tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Piotrowski avoids it.
Lewis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Piotrowski.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Lewis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lewis shoots in and bounces Piotrowski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Piotrowski is looking for a triangle but Lewis pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lewis wants to pass the guard but Piotrowski is keeping the position.

Lewis wanted to stand there but Piotrowski had control of the position.
Lewis throws a big right hand that misses.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lewis postures up in Piotrowski's guard and throws a big left but Piotrowski blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lewis is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Piotrowski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lewis is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Piotrowski asserts his dominance and retains side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Piotrowski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lewis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Piotrowski defends it well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Piotrowski has Lewis pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Piotrowski pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lewis tumbling to the mat - Piotrowski dives into Lewis's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rafal Piotrowski will probably get the nod.

Lewis darts in and clinches Piotrowski up against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
