Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Rockovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Cavalli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cavalli's choice of entrance music: The Offspring - Pretty fly (bass cover). Roberto Cavalli will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roberto Cavalli!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockovsky fails with a takedown attempt.
Rockovsky on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cavalli. Cavalli obviously looking to wear him down.
Cavalli wants to clinch.
Rockovsky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cavalli connects with a looping right hand.
Rockovsky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cavalli smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rockovsky shoots for a takedown but Cavalli saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boris Rockovsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rockovsky shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cavalli defends it nicely.
Rockovsky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Cavalli swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Horrible takedown by Rockovsky or perhaps it was just good defense by Cavalli which made him look bad.

Rockovsky doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Rockovsky takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Boris Rockovsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cavalli lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rockovsky takes a step back to recover.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Cavalli.
Rockovsky on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Cavalli lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice shot lands for Cavalli.
Cavalli is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Rockovsky swats away the attempt to clinch by Cavalli.

Cavalli scores with a nice head shot.
Cavalli throws a nice looking combination but Rockovsky bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rockovsky. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Rockovsky displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Rockovsky might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Cavalli tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rockovsky swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rockovsky wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Cavalli throws a wild body kick that Rockovsky sees coming a mile off.
Boris Rockovsky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rockovsky.
A head kick misses from Cavalli.
Rockovsky avoids a kick to the body.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rockovsky shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cavalli sprawls well. Cavalli wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rockovsky gets slowly back to his feet.

and Cavalli counters with a solid body kick.
Rockovsky throws a series of punches but Cavalli avoids them all with ease.
Rockovsky doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cavalli counters with a good, hard body kick but Rockovsky shrugs it off.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Cavalli counters with a right hand to the body.
Cavalli lands a right hook to the body.
Rockovsky takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cavalli thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rockovsky if he has to take too many more of those.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roberto Cavalli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Cavalli is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rockovsky takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rockovsky takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cavalli cracks Rockovsky with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Cavalli fails to land with a series of punches.

Cavalli with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rockovsky throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cavalli counters with a left and a right that stings Rockovsky.

Rockovsky shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cavalli napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cavalli wants to get back to his feet.

Rockovsky wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cavalli, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cavalli is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rockovsky is controlling him well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rockovsky trying to control the position but Cavalli is working away.
Rockovsky is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cavalli is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Rockovsky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rockovsky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rockovsky is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cavalli is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Rockovsky is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cavalli has escaped the position, nice work there.
Cavalli wants to get back to his feet but Rockovsky drags him back down.
Boris Rockovsky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rockovsky is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cavalli is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cavalli is trying to buck Rockovsky off.

Rockovsky goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cavalli has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rockovsky but great work by Cavalli.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cavalli wants to stand but Rockovsky is controlling his arm.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rockovsky tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cavalli wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Roberto Cavalli comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Cavalli winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
