The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stanley throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Overeem gets to his feet. Stanley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Overeem lands a big head kick that sends Stanley tumbling to the mat! Overeem takes a step backwards and waves Stanley back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Stanley is rocked!
It looks like Jake Stanley has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fight stays on the outside here - Overeem looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stanley scores a takedown into full mount!
Overeem is in all sorts of trouble here.
Overeem tries to hold on but Stanley postures up.
Overeem tries to buck Stanley off but he can't manage it.

Stanley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Overeem can't fight it off and eventually Stanley manages to take the fight to the floor. Overeem looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stanley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Stanley wants to pass the guard but Overeem is keeping the position.

Overeem wants to get back to his feet but Stanley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Stanley postures up in Overeem's guard and throws a big left but Overeem blocks it.
Overeem wants to stand and escape but Stanley is having none of it.
Stanley wants to control from the top but Overeem keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Overeem uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Overeem tries to clinch
and Stanley counters with a right hand to the body.
Overeem is breathing heavily.

Overeem connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Overeem circles away from the clinch attempt
and Overeem counters with a big head kick but Stanley shrugs it off.
Stanley misses with a takedown
and Overeem counters by clinching up.
Overeem breaks from the clinch.
Overeem clinches up with Stanley and pushes him back against the cage.
Stanley fails to pull guard.
Stanley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Overeem gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Marijn Overeem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Stanley.
Overeem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Overeem shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stanley counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Overeem wants to sweep here but Stanley controlling him for the moment.
Stanley trying to control but Overeem is working from the bottom.
Overeem manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stanley manages to get himself to full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Overeem gets to his feet. Stanley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stanley clinches but Overeem breaks the clinch
and Overeem finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Overeem tries to clinch but Stanley is having none of it.

Overeem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Overeem throws a head kick but Stanley moves out of range.
Marijn Overeem is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Overeem fails to land the takedown.
Jake Stanley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stanley tries to clinch
and Overeem counters by clinching up.
Overeem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Overeem rushes Stanley and presses him up against the cage.

Stanley is breathing heavily.
Overeem has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stanley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Stanley will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Overeem up against the cage.
Overeem manages to break the clinch.

Stanley keeps the fight on the outside.
A slapping leg kick lands for Overeem.
Stanley tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Overeem counters with a good, hard body kick but Stanley shrugs it off.
Overeem plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Overeem lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Overeem looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marijn Overeem. That's going to take a lot out of him.
