Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Medin Sirovica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Tree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Medin Sirovica!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce Tree!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tree misses with a head kick.
Sirovica takes the fight into the clinch.
Sirovica is trying to drag Tree to the mat but Tree just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Tree is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Sirovica breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tree keeps the fight on the outside.
Sirovica shoots for a takedown but Tree saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sirovica has closed the distance and engaged Tree in a clinch.
Tree using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sirovica has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Tree pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sirovica.
Sirovica is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tree knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Sirovica is looking to take a break and control but Tree is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tree regains half guard there - taking advantage of Sirovica's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sirovica seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Medin Sirovica.
Sirovica shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tree sprawls well. Tree wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sirovica gets slowly back to his feet.

Tree defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sirovica.
Sirovica drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tree lands a glancing blow to the side of Sirovica's head.
Sirovica clinches but Tree breaks the clinch
and Tree counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sirovica is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Tree misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Tree counters with an outside leg kick.
Sirovica fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sirovica.

Sirovica feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sirovica would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sirovica tries to free his leg and advance position but Tree is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tree wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Sirovica manages to pass to side control.
Sirovica seems to be working for a kimura but Tree defends the submission attempt.
Tree is trying to stand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tree changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sirovica darts in trying to clinch
and Tree counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tree.
Sirovica is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tree can't fight it off and eventually Sirovica manages to take the fight to the floor. Tree looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sirovica decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tree, up you get!
Tree thuds his right hand into Sirovica's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sirovica looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Tree misses the shot to the body.
Tree throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tree lands with a right hand.
Bruce Tree is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sirovica darts in trying to clinch
and Tree counters with a thumping low kick.
Tree lands with a slapping head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sirovica shoots in looking for a takedown. Tree tries to sprawl out of it but Sirovica keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tree manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bruce Tree showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Sirovica shoots and misses
and Tree counters with a head kick that drops Sirovica to the mat! Sirovica scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Oh Sirovica is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Medin Sirovica is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sirovica fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tree avoids it really well and circles away.
Sirovica seems to have got his legs back now.

Tree circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Sirovica drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Tree follows Sirovica to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
