Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tsuyoshi Tamatso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts comes to the cage accompanied by ridda. Jake Roberts has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Roberts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tsuyoshi Tamatso! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Tamatso.
Roberts dives in and grabs Tamatso's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tamatso pushes down on Roberts's head and hops out. Tamatso connects with a nice looking jab.
Roberts has a takedown stuffed. Tamatso smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roberts is defended easily by Tamatso. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Roberts. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roberts fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tamatso dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Roberts. That did some damage! Tamatso fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Roberts, pushing him back against the cage. Roberts has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tamatso is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tamatso. Tamatso prevents a takedown attempt there.
Roberts is breathing heavily. Tamatso manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Tamatso tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tamatso working for a triangle but Roberts defends it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tamatso looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts trying to control the position from guard on top but Tamatso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Roberts controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roberts avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Roberts postures up in Tamatso's guard and throws a big left but Tamatso blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Roberts wants to pass the guard but Tamatso is keeping the position. Tamatso looking for a guillotine here but Roberts defends easily.
Roberts with a flurry of punches that miss. Roberts trying to control but Tamatso is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Roberts scores a takedown into full mount! Tamatso keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Roberts tries to control but Tamatso wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tamatso is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tamatso regains half guard. Roberts misses with a head shot. Tamatso uses the momentum to regain guard. Tamatso looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Roberts passes into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tsuyoshi Tamatso dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
No joy there for Roberts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tamatso takes a swing at Roberts's ribcage but misses. Roberts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tamatso tries to avoid it but Roberts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tamatso to the ground. Tamatso escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Roberts takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Roberts wants to clinch but Tamatso slips to the side and Roberts takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Roberts misses with a takedown attempt enabling Tamatso to counter with a crisp jab. Roberts misses with a takedown attempt and Tamatso counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Roberts. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tamatso looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Roberts! Roberts is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tamatso lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
BOOM! Tamatso connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice elbow there by Tamatso. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tamatso lands with some strikes. Tamatso looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Roberts is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts tries to reverse the position but Tamatso maintains control. Tamatso has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Roberts's face.
Oh Roberts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Tamatso lands a big elbow - Roberts is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Roberts is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Tsuyoshi Tamatso!
