Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus MullHoland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has MullHoland pinned against the cage. MullHoland gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lesnar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but MullHoland avoids it really well and circles away. MullHoland shoots and misses
and Lesnar counters by clinching up.
Lesnar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lesnar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. MullHoland looks gassed! Lesnar in side control lands a decent elbow. Lesnar working the body and head with strikes. MullHoland taking a bit of punishment here - Lesnar scoring with strikes. Lesnar lands a nice forearm strike. Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but MullHoland keeps working.
Lesnar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! MullHoland is trying to buck Lesnar off.
Lesnar decides to take the fight back to the feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar throws a sloppy head kick and MullHoland moves out of range easily. MullHoland misses with a double jab
and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lesnar looking to pass the guard. MullHoland is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lesnar is controlling him. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lesnar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Lesnar landing some decent shots from guard. Lesnar with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Lesnar lands a couple of elbows.

Lesnar decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lesnar has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him. MullHoland misses with a takedown and Lesnar counters with a big head kick but MullHoland shrugs it off. MullHoland misses with an uppercut. Lesnar saw that one coming. MullHoland leaves Lesnar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lesnar gets caught flat footed, as MullHoland shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lesnar is working an open guard so MullHoland takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Lesnar chopping away at his opponent's legs.
MullHoland lands with a nice combination. Lesnar backs away looking to recover. MullHoland misses with the combination.
Lesnar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from MullHoland.

and Lesnar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. MullHoland is trying to stand back up but Lesnar is controlling him

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Lesnar prevents MullHoland from standing back up.
Lesnar wants to stand up but MullHoland has a hold of him and won't allow it. Lesnar thows a huge punch but MullHoland dodges it nicely.
MullHoland is not content to let Lesnar control the position.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. MullHoland fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
MullHoland swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into side control. MullHoland won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! MullHoland tries to escape but Lesnar is in control. Lesnar grinds an elbow into MullHoland's temple. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. MullHoland throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. MullHoland is trying to control Lesnar's posture but Lesnar avoids it. Lesnar landing a few strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lesnar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed MullHoland clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! MullHoland tries to escape the position.
MullHoland trying to get back to his feet but Lesnar is in full control for now. You can see the frustration on MullHoland's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Lesnar lands punches and elbows.
MullHoland defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Lesnar's arms. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. MullHoland grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar not allowing MullHoland to control his hands. MullHoland is trying to get back to his feet but Lesnar has full control of the position and if anything, MullHoland has just worked his way into a worse spot. Brock Lesnar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lesnar lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns MullHoland.
Lesnar is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but MullHoland has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
MullHoland is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. MullHoland misses with a two punch combination.
Lesnar closes the distance and clinches.
Lesnar tightens his grip and picks MullHoland up, before dumping him to the ground. MullHoland manages to land in guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar stops MullHoland from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar is in close to MullHoland's body, working some short punches and elbows.
MullHoland is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

and Lesnar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lesnar.

MullHoland gets to his feet. Lesnar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! MullHoland with a poor takedown
and Lesnar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar prevents MullHoland from standing back up.
Lesnar is taking a breather. MullHoland says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. MullHoland pushes Lesnar off looking to stand but Lesnar dives back in and keeps control.
Lesnar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks MullHoland with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lesnar thows a huge punch but MullHoland dodges it nicely.
Lesnar is trying to control. MullHoland wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. MullHoland blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lesnar. Lesnar scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lesnar is defended easily by MullHoland.

MullHoland tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lesnar just stands there and leans against the cage. Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus MullHoland.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A head kick from Lesnar lands but MullHoland takes it in his stride. MullHoland circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but MullHoland is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lesnar stops MullHoland from standing up. Lesnar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as MullHoland works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

MullHoland misses with a takedown attempt and Lesnar counters with a nice uppercut. MullHoland throws a right hand that Lesnar ducks under and follows up with a left that Lesnar also avoids with ease. Lesnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? MullHoland is fending him off so far but Lesnar persists. Nope, MullHoland circles away and we're back to standing. MullHoland fails with the takedown
and Lesnar counters into the clinch. Nicely done. MullHoland stops a takedown attempt from Lesnar.

Lesnar is trying to trip MullHoland. He has hold of a leg but MullHoland is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lesnar persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Lesnar connects with a couple of short punches. MullHoland wants to stand up but Lesnar is controlling him.

MullHoland on the wrong end of some ground and pound. MullHoland is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Lesnar has just dragged him back down to the mat.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. MullHoland misses with a wild combination.
MullHoland keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. MullHoland with a hook. Lesnar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but MullHoland swivels and escapes.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. MullHoland looks to land a left hand but Lesnar moved out of range nicely.
Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. MullHoland trying to control from the bottom.
Lesnar content to control rather than advance. Lesnar winds up and cracks MullHoland with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
MullHoland kicks Lesnar off and gets back to his feet. MullHoland wants to clinch but Lesnar slips to the side
and Lesnar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
MullHoland uses the cage to get back to his feet.
MullHoland will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marcus MullHoland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. MullHoland with a poor takedown
and Lesnar holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Marcus MullHoland has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brock Lesnar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Brock Lesnar showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lesnar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
