Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ang's entrance music is Long Way To The Top. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Snow's choice of entrance music: Oh Canada. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rodney Ang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Snow! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow throws a right and a left that both miss. Snow throws a hook to the side of Ang's head but Ang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Snow's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Snow duly obliges. Ang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Snow swats him away and circles back towards the center. Snow throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ang. Ang looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Snow throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snow is fending him off so far but Ang persists. Nope, Snow circles away and we're back to standing. Snow circles away from the clinch attempt.
A big right from Snow misses. Ang is looking to clinch but Snow is avoiding it.
Snow throws a right and a left that Ang avoids nicely. Ang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snow sprawls well. Snow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ang gets slowly back to his feet. Snow moves away from the strike by Ang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ang jabbing away but nothing is landing. Ang throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ang throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Snow takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ang fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodney Ang. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Ang or perhaps it was just good defense by Snow which made him look bad. Ang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Snow dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A combination from Snow does no damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow defending well as Ang loads up on a big left hand. Ang moves in looking to clinch but Snow pushes him off. Snow misses with a double jab.
Snow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ang circles away quickly and effectively. Snow misses with a series of wild punches.
Good standup being displayed there by Ang as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Matt Snow has been cut. Ang avoids a punch combination nicely.
Snow looks gassed! Snow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ang misses with a body punch
and Snow counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ang staying out of range there. A looping hook to the body misses from Ang. Snow does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow misses with a double jab
and Ang counters with a nice body shot. Nice body punch from Ang. Ang is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ang scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ang closes the distance and clinches. Snow takes an elbow to the forehead.
Snow is rocked! Snow takes an elbow to the forehead. Snow is still on wobbly legs! Can Ang finish him? Ang stalls. Snow seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ang using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Ang is pushing Snow up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ang lands an elbow that stopped Snow in his tracks for a moment. Ang lands an elbow just above Snow 's eye.
That has opened up Matt Snow's cut even more. Snow takes a knee to the side of the body. Snow takes an elbow to the forehead. A short uppercut from Ang. Ang ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ang no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Snow wants to control from the top but Ang keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ang lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Snow! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rodney Ang dominated that round. The cut man is working on Matt Snow's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ang drops Snow with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Snow! Ang dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodney Ang!
