Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reno Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Pepinhos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pepinhos has chosen Macaco - Hacen Falta Dos as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepinhos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dean was covering up waiting for the punch and Pepinhos finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pepinhos trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pepinhos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Pepinhos trying to control but Dean is working from the bottom.
Pepinhos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dean is trying to get back to full guard.
Pepinhos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Pepinhos maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dean could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pepinhos has cracked it and Dean is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pepinhos!
