The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a series of punches but Grajau avoids them all with ease.
Grajau misses with a combination

and Silva counters with a takedown into side control.

Silva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Grajau has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Silva but great work by Grajau.

Grajau stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Silva scoring well with a low kick there.
Grajau scores with a jab to the head.
Silva tries for a takedown but Grajau sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Silva is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Grajau has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Grajau!
Grajau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Grajau would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Nice defenses there by Silva.
No joy there for Grajau, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Grajau dives on top into guard.

Silva uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Grajau.
Grajau throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
