Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Correia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for Fedor Correia has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Correia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Silva! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Correia swivels and escapes. Correia throws a leg kick but Silva checks it. Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Correia as he jumps to the side. Silva looks gassed! Correia darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage. Correia stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Correia lands a takedown into guard.
Correia throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely. Correia wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva seems keen to control Correia's posture. Correia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground. Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Correia is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva keeping moving, preventing Correia from controlling successfully. Correia slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Correia makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Correia is looking to stand up but Silva won't let him. Silva is looking for a triangle but Correia pushes his legs off easily.
Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Correia is aware though and is defending well. Correia has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Correia trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Correia looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva is squirming around, avoiding Correia's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Correia avoids the attempt from Silva to control. Silva in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Correia wants to stand but Silva is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Correia is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Correia controlling the pace for now. Silva tries to hold on but Correia postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Correia avoids the attempt from Silva to control. Silva tries to buck Correia off but he can't manage it. Correia looking to control but Silva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Correia avoids the attempt from Silva to control. Correia trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Correia is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Silva blocking the ground and pound. Correia sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Silva wants to hold on but Correia pushes him away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Correia dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Correia counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Correia just leaning against Silva, taking a breather. Correia gets control of Silva's arms and successfully pulls guard. Correia will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Silva wants to control from the top but Correia keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Renato Silva. Correia shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard. Correia postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Silva seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Silva wants to sweep but no luck. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is looking for a triangle but Correia pushes his legs off easily.
Silva is pulling down on Correia's head to control his posture. Silva keeping moving, preventing Correia from controlling successfully. Silva trying to control the position here. Silva has his feet on Correia's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Silva perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Correia is trying to stand.
Correia is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silva trying to mount his opponent but Correia defends it. Silva is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Correia wants to get back to his feet. Silva content to control rather than advance. Correia wants to get back to full guard. Silva takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Renato Silva. Correia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side. Correia shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Silva pushes Correia off and gets back to his feet.
Silva wants to clinch but Correia slips to the side and Correia counters with a nice double leg into guard. Silva is adopting a defensive guard. Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Correia is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Fedor Correia will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Correia was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard. Silva postures up.

Silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Silva feints and as Correia raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Silva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Correia, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Correia, before circling back to the center of the mat. Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Correia's half guard. Silva with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Correia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Correia won't allow Silva to pass to mount. Correia pushes Silva off looking to stand but Silva dives back in and keeps control.
Correia is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Correia avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Correia is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silva performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Correia trying to control but Silva postures up.
Renato Silva has got the better of the ground game so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Silva misses with a takedown and Correia counters by clinching up. Silva tries to break the clinch but Correia is controlling the position. Correia keeps control of Silva as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Correia successfully pulls guard.
Silva is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Silva gets to his feet - Correia follows without any prompting. Renato Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Correia wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance. Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Silva stands up and waves to Correia to follow him. Silva shoots and misses and Correia moves into the clinch. Correia decides to pull guard. Correia trying to control the position.
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Silva thows a big elbow that misses. Silva postures up.
Silva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva wants to control from the top but Correia keeps moving. Correia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Correia tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range. Silva leaves Correia with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fedor Correia is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Silva moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Renato Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Correia has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
