Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tur Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Freeman.

Cote tries to clinch up.
Freeman thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Cote if he has to take too many more of those.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cote takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Freeman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cote.

Freeman shoots in for a double leg but Cote sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Freeman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Freeman drops Cote with a right and a left! Freeman comes rushing in but Cote regains his composure and manages to keep Freeman in guard.

Freeman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Cote lands with a nice combination. Freeman backs away looking to recover.
Freeman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cote swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Freeman gets caught flat footed, as Cote shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cote decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Freeman throws a right and a left that Cote avoids nicely.
Cote is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Freeman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cote swivels and escapes.
Cote closes the distance and clinches.
Cote drops down looking for an ankle pick but Freeman pulls his leg out and moves away.

It looks like Tur Cote has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Freeman wants to control but Cote is keeping him busy.
Cote prevents Freeman from improving position.
Freeman is looking to take a break and control but Cote is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Freeman stands up.
Freeman goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Cote walks into a jab.
Freeman has his takedown stuffed
and Cote counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordon Freeman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Freeman prevents Cote from breaking the clinch.
Freeman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cote misses with a takedown attempt - Freeman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Freeman throws a front kick that sends Cote stumbling back into the cage.

and Freeman counters with a body kick that stops Cote in his tracks momentarily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Freeman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cote.
Cote lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Gordon Freeman has been cut.
Cote feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Freeman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Freeman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A big head kick from Freeman and Cote is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Freeman wants to get up but he can't break Cote's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Freeman wants to stand and escape but instead Cote has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Cote won't allow Freeman to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Cote has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
