Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Pyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mladen Milenkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milenkovic gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pyson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Pyson wants to stand and escape but instead Milenkovic has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Milenkovic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pyson looking for subs off his back but Milenkovic has passed one foot through into half guard.
Pyson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Milenkovic on the ground.
Pyson wants to improve his position but Milenkovic is controlling well.

Pyson is really struggling to control Milenkovic but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Pyson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Milenkovic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pyson, into his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Pyson will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Milenkovic stuffs the takedown.
Milenkovic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pyson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Milenkovic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Pyson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Milenkovic's guard now.
