Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drako Vladamir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xander Ralphinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drako Vladamir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xander Ralphinski! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vladamir shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Vladamir is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Ralphinski manages to get to full guard. Vladamir throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ralphinski works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Vladamir lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Ralphinski is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Vladamir wants to stand but Ralphinski has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Vladamir looking to pass the guard.

Vladamir trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Vladamir missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Vladamir would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ralphinski has his foot on Vladamir's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vladamir works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vladamir tries to free his leg and advance position but Ralphinski is retaining full guard. Vladamir trying to control but Ralphinski is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vladamir keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ralphinski's head. Ralphinski has a closed guard, preventing Vladamir from standing up. Vladamir working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Vladamir working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ralphinski's head. Vladamir pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ralphinski is keeping the position for now. Ralphinski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vladamir defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ralphinski preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Vladamir has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ralphinski is proving hard to escape from. Ralphinski looking for a guillotine here but Vladamir defends easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ralphinski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vladamir doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vladamir manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Vladamir has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ralphinski is proving hard to escape from. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ralphinski has his foot on Vladamir's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vladamir works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xander Ralphinski dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ralphinski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Vladamir stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ralphinski. Vladamir chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ralphinski can pounce on him.
Vladamir drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ralphinski keeping full guard, as Vladamir tries to pass. Vladamir tries to stand but Ralphinski is controlling from the bottom. Vladamir wants to stand and escape but instead Ralphinski has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Vladamir is controlling Ralphinski's posture.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ralphinski drops back looking for a leg! Vladamir is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vladamir manages to kick Ralphinski off! Ralphinski jumps back into Vladamir's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ralphinski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ralphinski catches Vladamir with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Ralphinski thuds his shin into the meat of Vladamir's side. Vladamir lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ralphinski circles away quickly and effectively. Xander Ralphinski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ralphinski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vladamir. That did some damage! Vladamir takes a swing at Ralphinski's ribcage but misses. Vladamir throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vladamir tries to bum rush Ralphinski with a series of wild strikes but Ralphinski uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Vladamir tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ralphinski paws at him with a jab and circles away. Vladamir scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ralphinski regains half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ralphinski looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ralphinski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vladamir pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drako Vladamir dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
A chopping leg kick lands by Ralphinski. Vladamir misses with a body shot.
Ralphinski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Vladamir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ralphinski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ralphinski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vladamir.
Vladamir fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vladamir drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ralphinski is looking to reverse the position. Ralphinski is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Vladamir's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Vladamir not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Vladamir is taking a breather. Ralphinski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vladamir is keen to just control but Ralphinski is a slippery customer. Vladamir wants to stand but Ralphinski has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Ralphinski looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Vladamir with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ralphinski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vladamir pulls his head out easily. Ralphinski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Vladamir knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ralphinski on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Vladamir is trying to control the action in half guard but Ralphinski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Vladamir is pressing down on Ralphinski's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ralphinski is holding on for now. Vladamir sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ralphinski defending well though. Vladamir is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Ralphinski reverses the position - he's now on top in Vladamir's guard. Vladamir is looking to stand up but Ralphinski isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ralphinski stands and throws Vladamir's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Vladamir can't do much from the bottom here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ralphinski tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Drako Vladamir. I think Vladamir has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
