The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whittaker is looking to clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Whittaker has eaten all the pies!

Babu rushes Whittaker and presses him up against the cage.
Babu is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Babu lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Babu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Whittaker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Babu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Whittaker kicks Babu off and gets back to his feet.

Babu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Babu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Babu takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Babu postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Whittaker bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Babu and the fight is over!
