Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hatt Mughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hatt Mughes! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mughes misses with a low kick. Mughes lands with a kick to the ribs.
Gracie is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mughes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mughes throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot. Some wild striking there from Mughes.
Mughes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mughes bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Mughes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gracie avoids it really well and circles away. Gracie takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Royce Gracie has been cut. Mughes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively. Gracie dips down and scores with a jab to the body. An inside leg kick lands from Mughes. A telegraphed right hand from Mughes misses the target. Mughes lands a jab-cross combination. Mughes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie. Mughes misses with a two punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mughes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mughes closes the distance and clinches. Gracie jumps guard but Mughes stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mughes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mughes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Mughes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mughes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gracie trying to control the position but Mughes is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mughes wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mughes is letting Gracie control him for a moment. Gracie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Gracie trying to control the position but Mughes is working away. Mughes is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gracie asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mughes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mughes throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Mughes closes the distance and lands a one-two. Mughes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mughes takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses. Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mughes looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mughes wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.
Gracie content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mughes is looking to improve his position.
Gracie prevents Mughes from standing back up.
Mughes is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hatt Mughes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Royce Gracie's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Nice defenses there by Mughes. Mughes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gracie. Mughes throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Mughes is looking to score with low kicks. Mughes misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mughes can do anything to dispel that myth. Gracie is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mughes's shoulder. That is not cool. Mughes is looking to reverse the position. Mughes is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gracie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mughes is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mughes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie controls the position from side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Royce Gracie. Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mughes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mughes lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gracie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gracie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mughes napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gracie trying to control the action but Mughes is working from the bottom. Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Gracie trying to control the action but Mughes is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie advances nicely into full mount. Gracie looking for a guillotine from mount but Mughes is having none of it. Gracie controlling his opponent. Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mughes is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Mughes really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Gracie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mughes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mughes shrugs it off. Mughes is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action. Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mughes tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gracie controlling the position easily from mount. Gracie tries to control but Mughes wriggling away. Gracie looking for a guillotine from mount but Mughes is having none of it. Mughes is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Royce Gracie dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Royce Gracie's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mughes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mughes's back! Mughes defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Mughes is trying to stand back up. Mughes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mughes tries to roll but Gracie sticks to his back.
Gracie looking for the RNC. Mughes is trying to get back to his feet but Gracie has full control of the position and if anything, Mughes has just worked his way into a worse spot. Gracie controlling from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Gracie tries to get the hooks in deep but Mughes pushed the leg off. Gracie has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Mughes is in real trouble here. Gracie gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Mughes is tapping out! Gracie wins by rear naked choke!
