Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Proudstar comes to the cage accompanied by "Run to the hills" by Iron Maiden. Doe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. whatsername, and does she remember my name? kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Proudstar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doe tries to score with a low kick but Proudstar moves his leg out of the way. Doe shoots for a double leg takedown but Proudstar sprawls well. He's pushed Doe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Proudstar checks a leg kick. Proudstar misses with an uppercut. The fighters circling - Proudstar throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Proudstar looks to land a left hand but Doe moved out of range nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doe checks a leg kick. James Proudstar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doe is looking to slow Proudstar down with leg kicks. Doe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Proudstar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe misses with a hook. Proudstar throws a hook to the side of Doe's head but Doe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Doe scores with a spinning back kick! Proudstar wants to slow Doe down by chopping away at his legs. Doe lands with an uppercut that bounces Proudstar off the cage and back into rage. Proudstar throws a leg kick that is checked and Doe makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Doe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Proudstar throws out the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Proudstar misses and Doe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Proudstar won't be happy with that. Proudstar is looking for a sweep. Doe taking a breather here. Doe tries to advance to mount but Proudstar denies him. Proudstar manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Proudstar tries to pass to full mount but Doe defends it. Proudstar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Doe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doe can do anything to dispel that myth. Proudstar with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Proudstar is looking to take a break and control but Doe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Doe is looking to improve his position.
Doe trying to get back to full guard but Proudstar takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Proudstar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Doe is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Doe dominated that round. That's time! Proudstar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Proudstar gets off balance looking for a body kick and Doe counters with a slapping leg kick. Doe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Proudstar gets back to full guard.
Proudstar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Proudstar keeping moving, preventing Doe from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Proudstar being controlled here, momentarily. Proudstar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Proudstar working a defensive guard but Doe passes into half guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Doe. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Proudstar trying to control but Doe postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Doe keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Proudstar is trying to get back to full guard. Proudstar is looking to control Doe's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Proudstar avoid being mounted? Proudstar is looking for a sweep. Doe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Doe checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Proudstar scores with the left hand. Doe knows he should have avoided that one. Proudstar misses the shot to the body. Nice body kick from Proudstar. Proudstar pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Proudstar swinging wildly here.
Proudstar throws a leg kick that is checked and Doe counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Proudstar tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Proudstar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Doe misses with a head kick.
Proudstar throws a leg kick that is checked and Doe counters with a thumping low kick. Doe finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that James Proudstar will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Doe motions for Proudstar to come forward. Doe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Proudstar throws a shot from downtown. Doe moves away and avoids it. Doe throws a hook to the side of Proudstar's head but Proudstar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Doe throws the left hand but Proudstar avoids the punch easily. Doe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Proudstar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

That's one minute gone in the round. Doe connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Proudstar takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Doe walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Proudstar checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Proudstar looks to land a right hand but Doe moved out of range. A low kick from Proudstar is predictable there and Doe counters with a stiff right hand. Proudstar lands a nice shot that snaps Doe's head back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Doe throws a nice head kick!
Doe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Proudstar. Doe wants to slow Proudstar down by chopping away at his legs. That's three minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Proudstar checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A jab from Doe finds it's way through Proudstar's defenses. Doe connects with a right hand. Proudstar shakes it off. A slow jab from Proudstar misses its intended target. Doe tries to work over Proudstar's front leg with a kick but Proudstar checks it. Doe connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Proudstar misses with a leg kick and Doe counters with an inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Proudstar throws out the jab. Proudstar takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Doe staying out of range there. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Proudstar, as that shot connected.
Proudstar defending well as Doe loads up on a big left hand. Proudstar misses with a hook. Doe ducked under it nicely. Doe checks a low kick from Proudstar.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Doe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Doe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
